A wide range of enrichment activities throughout the whole school enhances the learning experience with a wide range of educational visits arranged each year. The majority of these are day trips and are an integral element in the school's curriculum.
Year 7, for example, enjoy team building activities as they canoe, abseil and generally get muddy on a PGL weekend. Year 8 spend a week in Brittany developing their appreciation of French language, culture and cuisine. Year 10’s visit to the Somme increases their understanding of war poetry, history and languages.
Opportunities to visit Iceland, Italy, Brussels and New York expand the horizons of girls from Year 10 upwards. Skiing in the Alps, Shakespeare at Stratford, Still Life at the Barber Institute, visits to the Design Museum, Jewellery Quarter, Kew Gardens… the opportunities are extensive!
