The Junior School (Years 4 to 6) is a place where each girl makes her own contribution to the friendly and purposeful atmosphere. The girls thrive in an environment which provides supportive guidance and challenge. Relationships between staff, parents and girls are close.

A broad range of academic subjects are offered.  The curriculum includes all National Curriculum subjects, but is enhanced by additional subjects such as French, German and Spanish.

Teaching is delivered by the form teacher and a range of specialist staff from the Senior School.  Small classes and groups ensure each girl reaches her potential.  Physical Education has a high profile and all girls enjoy a varied programme as part of the regular curriculum.  Further to this there is a wide range of co-curricular activities.

Junior School builds firm foundations for secondary education.  The girls are motivated and independent learners, able to use a range of skills to ensure they gain the most from their education.  

Excellent communication skills and the close partnership which is developed between school, parents and their daughters, ensure that girls make the best of a range of opportunities on offer. We are pleased to see our girls become confident and responsible young people.
