Dance
In addition to Dance being part of the curriculum for some girls up to Year 9,
classes are held at the end of the school day. The Dance Club at Saint Martin’s School aims to deliver classes that are fun, pleasurable, and will provide levels of fitness based around a sound technique.
Ms Julie Felix, the Head of Dance at Saint Martin’s, teaches the extra-curricular dance classes. She has 30 years of professional experience in the ballet and dance world. Her programme is varied and of the highest standard.
The emphasis is on ‘Dance for fun’ rather than graded examination classes as the restrictive nature of the examinations and the costs are inhibitive factors to both progress and enjoyment of classes.
The cost will vary each term dependent upon the number of sessions in a term.
