Entrance Procedures
Alice House (2 years 9 months to 8 years) :
Admission to Alice House (Preparatory Department) at the Foundation Stage (the Nursery classes and Reception) is by application. We invite older children to spend a day in school during which they complete an assessment appropriate to their age and are given the opportunity to get the feel of the school.

Junior School (8 to 11 years) :
Admission to the Junior School is by assessment. Girls spend a day with us in school during which they complete a formal test and generally participate in a normal school day.

Senior School (11 to 18 years) :
Admission to the Senior School is by entrance examination. This consists of a verbal reasoning paper, a non-verbal reasoning paper, together with an English and Mathematics paper for entry at 11+. Girls are accepted at other ages subject to meeting entrance requirements in English, Mathematics and a Modern Foreign Language. Sixth Form admission is by interview and satisfactory completion of GCSE examinations with good results.
